Whew! It’s a hot one over at the LiTHUM offices today. It’s scorching outside, and we’ve got a bunch of sizzling releases (har har!) to discuss as well. Everyone’s favorite French DJ is re-releasing his 2009 hit album with a bonus disc of remixed content from the original release. Love dancing? Head to your nearest air conditioned retailer and pick this one up. Just make sure to enjoy this one later at night when it cools down. We don’t want anyone suffering from heat stroke from the love of music.

Back to Me – Fantasia
The former American Idol winner is back with her first album in four years. For this release, Fantasia worked with an impressive list of writers and producers, including Chuck Harmony, Jim Jonsin, Ne-Yo, and The Underdogs. She’s been in the news lately for some less than positive issues, so we wish her the best and hope her album does well in the coming weeks.

Teenage Dream – Katy Perry
The anthem of this summer just might be “California Girls,” the lead single to Katy Perry’s second major label release. If you’re not already totally sick of hearing that record, be sure to pick up the album. Perry brought out some heavy hitters to contribute, working with the likes of Dr. Luke, Ester Dean, Tricky Stewart, and of course Bigg Snoop Dogg. Despite the mixed reviews it’s garnered so far, we’re fully expecting this one to light up the charts.

Harmony – Never Shout Never
The Myspace phenomenon is releasing his second album, which is his first full-length project today. Taking a cue from its title, the CD comes packed with flower seeds, enabling fans to create a little harmony with nature (heh..eh). The deluxe edition even comes with a flowerpot. Now that’s some creative packaging, eh?

Burning the Day – Randy Rogers Band
The Country rockers are back with their fifth studio release. Instead of another collaboration with Radney Foster, the group produced this album in conjunction with Paul Worley. The band is currently on tour throughout the south promoting the record, check out their website to see if they’re going to make their way towards your town.
